Give TikTok the events
its optimizer is starving for.
TikTok optimizes on the events it receives. Adback delivers your real subscription events (trials, subscribes, purchases) to the TikTok Events API server-side, tied to the exact click through the captured ttclid, using credentials you own.
Manual Pixel ID + Events API token · No partner approval · No OAuth
Why TikTok first
The network you can connect today, without permission
Most ad network integrations stall on partner programs and OAuth reviews. TikTok's Events API works with a Pixel ID and an access token you can create yourself in Events Manager. That is why it is Adback's first production postback network. Meta and Google follow the same server-postback model as they are added; they are roadmap, not production today.
What gets sent
Anatomy of a postback
Only events that pass your mapping, attribution, deduplication, and eligibility rules reach TikTok. Each delivery records TikTok's accepted or rejected response in the trace view.
| Field | What it carries |
|---|---|
| Mapped event name | Your event, translated by your mapping rules, for example CompleteRegistration, StartTrial, Subscribe, or Purchase. |
| event_id | The stable identifier from the original event, so TikTok deduplicates retries instead of double-counting. |
| ttclid | The TikTok click ID captured by your signal link, connecting the conversion back to the exact ad. |
| Value & currency | Included for server-side revenue events from RevenueCat, Superwall, or your backend, never from SDK purchase claims. |
| Hashed match data | SHA-256 hashed email, phone, and external ID, only when your app explicitly supplied user_match_data. |
The link side
Macros do the campaign bookkeeping
Your ad's website URL is an Adback signal link with TikTok's macros pre-filled. TikTok expands them at click time, so every conversion later reports against the right campaign, ad group, and creative.

Connected in four steps
Have the SDK installed and a revenue source connected first. TikTok can only optimize on events that actually flow.
Connect TikTok in the Adback console
Add your TikTok Pixel ID and Events API access token from TikTok Events Manager. Manual credentials, no partner approval or OAuth flow required.
Map your events
Choose which Adback events become TikTok events, for example SIGN_UP to CompleteRegistration, or a RevenueCat purchase to Purchase. Unmapped events are never sent.
Create a TikTok signal link
Create a link for your app with the TikTok template and paste the full URL into your ad's website field. The TikTok macros are pre-filled. Do not trim them.
Run a small campaign and verify
Confirm click, install, revenue, and postback trace rows in the Adback console, then check TikTok Events Manager for the same events arriving on your data connection.
Data boundaries
What Adback does with your TikTok credentials
The integration is write-only signal delivery with credentials you control and can revoke in TikTok at any time.
What happens
- Your Pixel ID and Events API token are stored encrypted
- Mapped events are delivered server-side with stable event IDs
- The captured ttclid links each conversion to the originating ad
- Email, phone, and external ID are SHA-256 hashed before delivery, and only sent when your app supplied them
- IP address and user agent can be sent for event matching when available
- TikTok's accepted or rejected response is recorded for every attempt
What never happens
- The mobile SDK never sees or transmits your TikTok credentials
- Unmapped events are never delivered
- Revenue values are never taken from SDK purchase claims, only from server-side billing sources
- Raw IP and user-agent values never appear in logs, metrics, event snapshots, or remote errors
- No campaign management. Adback sends signals; your TikTok account stays yours
